At the edge of myth and memory stands the Black Madonna, guardian of thresholds, bearer of the unseen, and guide of the soul’s descent and return. In this three-part series, Dennis Klocek traces the thread of Sophianic wisdom from ancient Gnostic streams into the living stream of today’s mystery work. Through esoteric meditative practices and imaginal exercises, we are invited to walk the inner path from fractured will toward spiritual coherence. The Black Madonna emerges not as a relic of the past but as a living being, one who accompanies us as we transform longing into trust, desire into vision, and suffering into seed.
From soul breathing to symbolic feeling, from the pain of Sophia’s exile to the gesture of Anthroposophia rising in our time, these teachings help connect us to the deeper rhythms of spiritual becoming. Themes include the polarity between thought and will, the karma of silence, the mysteries of Kamaloca, and the creation of soul organs through inner art. With reverent clarity, Dennis takes us to meet our shadow with compassion and our calling with courage, guiding us toward the heart-eye that sees through symbol, into mystery, and forward into the work of a new culture born not of fear, but of freedom.

Adventures on the Symbolic Plane of Consciousness
As had been employed by mystery pupils of the past, modern explorers of the wisdom of self-transformation use symbolic imagery for enhancing their meditative practice. A specific practice which Rudolf Steiner called entering the astral body. Starting with the mandala as an archetype of consciousness, each session will use the methodology of breathing an image to enter into its symbolic content. Small workgroups will address the inner responses to these symbols using suggested protocols.
