In Great Barrington, MA in 2014, Dennis Klocek led a weekend workshop exploring the shifts in human consciousness, from the ancient dominance of nature-based spirituality to the modern rise of scientific reductionism. The event tackled the growing polarization between the human need for personal meaning and societal ideals—a divide that has fueled fundamentalism in both science and religion.
Throughout the workshop, Dennis guided participants through lectures and exercises centered around the alchemical mandala, using it as a tool for understanding the evolution of this search for meaning. Dear Dennis and Ben,
I just finished listening again to this series. The first time I did it through you tube but with no handout. At that time, I already got a lot out of it, but this time was just so much deeper. What a fantastic gift. It has help me understand in a much clearer way what does Dennis means in many if not in all of the other lectures I have heard from him his emphasis in the need to be working with living pictures and symbols and how to better do it.
