In Part 6 of our Soul Course, Dennis shows us how how to use the twelve personality archetypes to begin to see into the biographical stories of people in our lives. The soul dynamics of control in each archetype will be explored through the Artist/Agent and Activist/Hermet polarities. Understanding these dynamics allows us to heal ourselves and each other by recognizing the role each are playing in a given situation.

Check out the Soul Course for more on understanding soul healing through storytelling.

Note the polarities and squares.

Ordered Server – (Agent)
These souls fear criticism. To compensate they are extremely organized to avoid being caught in an error. Chronic orderliness can become an emotional prison.

Boss – (Executive)
These souls are strategically aware of potential conflicts. They are disturbed by any impedance to their strategic goals. They value efficiency and react strongly when questioned.

Actor – (Actor)
These dramatic souls fear the future. They chronically seek approval. Repetitious practice for a performance allows them to safely perfect and project an image of themselves.

Perfectionist – (Activist)
This soul operates through intensity of belief coupled with control issues. Through zeal for a cause these souls make it known that they are in the game to win.

Compulsive Scholar – (Journalist)
This soul is challenged to balance compulsive sequestering of facts with generosity. The soul mood is powerful self absorption in a project whose goal is to benefit others .

Peace Maker – (Healer)
This soul seeks harmony in all conflicts, at all costs. Taking both sides of an issue can lead to an oscillation of moods that eventually causes confusion about personal life values.

Noble Sufferer – (Artist)
These creative souls see themselves as martyrs for the rest of humanity. They resent having to present authentic creative works to the unappreciative masses.

Aggressive Leader – (Manager)
This soul values systemic solutions that regulate group activities. This requires a detachment from any group criticism. Detachment from groups eventually creates aggressive control anxiety.

Awake Sufferer – (Priest)
This soul seeks refuge from the fallen parts of the world. Feelings center around impulses towards spiritual practices linked to prescribed responses.

Wounded Heart – (Hermit)
The mood of this soul is loss or a shock that has become too much to bear. This is a combination of sorrow, loss and shock that requires retreating from life.

Eternal Embryo – (Historian)
This soul lives in the past because they distrust change. They are prone to brood about alleged slights or chronically worry about health issues (hypochondria).

Truth Teller – (Researcher)
This ascetic soul has to balance rigorous thinking with a repressed feeling life. Strong thought patterns give capacity for logical thinking but create aversion to illogical emotion.

Human neurological patterns represent a cascading hierarchy of organ responses to sensory stimuli that come from the environment. Sensory inputs through the sense organs impact the nervous system directly. The direct nerve pulses then cause secretions of hormones into the blood as secondary responses to light, sound, smell and movement. In the brain the pituitary…
