Eclipse Paths and Tectonic Plates: An Observation of Current Events
By Dennis Klocek 1 min read
I found these two charts worth considering during the annular eclipse today. The one on the right shows the path of totality of the eclipse between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta in northern California. In the chart on the left that path is traced on a seismic map. The black line is the path of totality on both charts. Of interest is the crossing of the Gorda Ridge at right angles. The Gorda Ridge is the western border of the Gorda Plate, a small plate oof the coast of Northern California and Southern Oregon. Past experience has shown that along the path of totality unusually high incidences of earthquake or volcanic activity can be observed. This is especially the case where the path of totality crosses a tectonic border at right angles. This is the case in this current eclipse with both the Gorda Plate and the Juan De Fuca ridge o the coast of Washington and British Columbia.
It is often the case that the event of the crossing passes without incident. The zone however seems to be under stress. It is when the moon or another planet crosses the stressed plate that the release occurs.
I think an interesting time window to watch is in mid July. Mars is in mid Virgo over the western Pacifc. In that position it is squared to Pluto that is in mid Sagittarius due south of the Gorda Ridge. Pluto is squared to Uranus in mid Pisces in the mid Atlantic. On the 17th the moon reaches mid Gemini completing a grand square. This kind of loading is often a trigger for tectonic events. The next window would be in late July on the 31st when the moon crosses the West Coast. This can also be an event that releases energies.
To watch these events in real time the following URL is very useful.

Goethe’s Living-Nature Imagination
Those who have tried to grasp and not merely read about the nature-consciousness developed in Goethe, know how elusive this child of the 18th century can be. For no sooner do you grasp what appears to be a limb (or branch), then at once the fragile form disappears. You hold in your hand something akin to the carbon structure of the thing or a burnt etching, but the living experience awaits the next effort of perception.
Patterns in Research – Angelica Archangelica
Angelica research This article was instigated by an initial study done to acclimatize the herb angelica archangelica into California. Angelica is native to high altitudes and high latitudes. In these rather harsh environments the demand made on the harvesting of the plant root has created a concern among plant scientists has put the plant on…
