Article treasure trove from older Biodynamic Journal
By Ben Klocek 2 min read
A month or so ago, Dennis shared something special with me – an old three-ring binder containing articles from Biodynamics Journal from the 70s and 80s, when he was first learning about biodynamics.
We had been discussing how Biodynamic research seems to have shifted with the focus on profit. Dennis reflected that the research he encountered as an early student really held a lot of heart.
I’ve scanned these articles and would love to share them with you, hoping they might inspire you as well. They should be searchable, but cut and paste doesn’t really work.
It’s my understanding that these older magazines can be downloaded from https://soilandhealth.org/bio-dynamics-page/. Please consider supporting Steve and the Biodynamic Association (USA) for making these available. They are a priceless resource.
Warmly,
Ben Klocek

A Pandemic of Blame
A pandemic can be characterized technically as a cascade. One event triggers two events and they in turn trigger four and so on to create a cascade. In biology the cascade effect is a fundamental life strategy for many opportunistic organisms like viruses. However, social scientists point out that the lingering effects of a cascading…
Glyphs of the Zodiac
Editor’s Note: Dennis uses a sidereal ephemeris to determine the dates for each constellation in which the sun is active. The sidereal ephemeris takes into consideration the precession of the equinoxes in determining the the location of the stars and planets as they are today. The constellations of the zodiac are traditionally rendered in pictographs…
